Trained once
Someone may study a session or a full module in the Shop. That is real training. It is not the same as staying inside the Circle.
Active Lumira Caregiver
Trained, continuously learning in weekly sessions, and still connected to the Lumira standard — not a one-time certificate left on a shelf.
Notices what the child and the household need next, and begins — without waiting to be managed through every step.
Offers real activity and companionship, rather than only containing or distracting a young child.
Supports arrivals, meals, rest, and departures with calm pacing so the day has a readable rhythm.
Speaks clearly about the day. Does not hide difficulty, and does not dramatise it.
Where the child is able, the caregiver lets them finish — coat, cup, toy on the shelf — instead of taking over.

Lumira may introduce trained caregivers to yearly members through a human-reviewed Curated Matching Round. The family employs the caregiver. Lumira does not. The training standard is educational — not a guarantee of fit. A rematch within 28 days of placement start is $197. An extra match in the same year is $197, subject to supply. Matching is not a revolving door.
